Horses,our faithful friends!!

قوله تعالى: والعاديات ضبحا
(By the chargers that run panting.)

Allah the Almighty has sworn by the 'Chargers' in the 100th Surah in the holy Quran.

These chargers are also known as kuda perang in the Malay translation of this Surah.

-Horses are the 2nd most loyal creatures,after dogs.

Domestic horses never leave their owners if they are able not to.

-There are more than 25 species of horses in the world 2day.

At the time our granfather's grandfather was born,there were no cars.

In those years,animals,especially horses,were used for transportation.

Allah has given them many special and unique features,one of which

enables it to carry us for kilometres without becoming tired.

Allah has said in surah an-nahl ayat 8:
و الخيل و البغال والحمير لتركبوها وزينة
(And horses ,mules and donkeys are both to ride and for adornment.)

Some other AMAZING features Allah has given to horses:

***Horse hair serves as a thermostat:Horses need to keep their body temperature @ 38 degrees celcius.
So,during cold seasons,their hair grows longer to maintain this temperature.
Conversely,during hotter seasons,they shed their hair.

***Horses sleep on their feet:Why don't they fall then??
This is because,Allah has made for them leg bones which can lock themselves when they are asleep.Subhanallah!
* due to this feature too,they are able to carry heavy loads without falling down.

***Horses can run very fast: Allah has given them a mechanism which works in a similar way to the car gear mechanism.
When they want to run faster,they are able to shift to a higher gear using lesser and lesser force..

Allah has equipped horses with these skills, not only to meet their own needs

but also to serve human beings...as mentioned in the ayat above..
