uhaiyiikum bi tahiyyatim min 'indillaahi mubaarakatan thaiyibah
salaamun 'alaikunna...wa 'alaikum..
قال الله تعالى:
...وما تسقط من ورقة الا يعلمها ولا حبة فى ظلمات الأرض ولا رطب ولا يابس الا فى كتاب مبين
AllaH the Almighty said:
( ...And he knows whatever there is in the land and in thde sea;
not a leaf falls but he knows it.There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry,but is written in
a clear record.)

This beautiful ayah kept repeating itself in my head throughout our trek up (and also down) the bukit timah hill.
Yup! u heard right!
We, the Pusat Tahfiz girls went hiking @ the bukit timah nature reserve.
This activity aimed to foster ties between the tahfiz female students.
@ the same time, we also wanted to promote a healthy lifestyle..as the famous arabic proverb says:

Anyway, with ourselves totally covered up as usual-with the exception of face and palms, we walked towards the ranger station.
a number of us were carrying plastics bags filled with food,drinks,etc...
Suddenly, monkeys started circling us!!!
We(@ least some of us,) started shouting, a natural female reaction 2 scary things!
A ranger then came 2 us n told us to keep everything in the safety of our bags..
"There is an unusually big number of monkeys here today!"she warned.
Alhamdulillaah, during our trek,no monkeys disturbed us.
Through sheer perserverance, and nt forgetting Allah's help,we reached the peak,@ 164m above sea level, in about 1 and a 1/2 hours...

We used a rocky path on the way up..so,as to be expected,we had to climb up a wall of rock @ one point!

@ the peak,we had a sumptious meal of bread spread with mashed eggs, mayonaise and apple-courtesy of ummu n juwai.
A certain person in the group even remembered to bring a tikar n compass to pray dhuha here!
Maa shaa Allah!

We saw 3 caves and many, many steamlets with clean water(filtered by the soil and rocks) on the way down..Subhaanallaah!

We reached the base of the hill for the 2nd time @ 12.30.

Seeing that the playground was near deserted,we transformed into little kids, fully utilising the swings and the slides...

We ended our activity this time @ the beautiful quarry. This quarry is unique cos its water rises @ the rate of 3 m per year..

All praise be 2 Allah who has made this world and evrything in it so perfectly...and all in such perfect harmony!
قال الله عز وجل: ان فى ذلك لآية لقوم يتفكرون
Allah The Great said: Verily, in this is the sign for the people who think.
صدق الله العظيم
